Just the best pie if you want a delicious,
quick & easy one!
I have made this pie many times.
It is always a hit!
Suggested fruits:
1 cup diced strawberries, orange sections,banana, or fresh peaches.
Or
1 can (8-1/2 oz.)apricots, sliced peaches or pears, drained and diced.

Ingredients For light & fruity pie - great for easter

  • 1 pkg
    (4 serv) jell-o any flavor.
  • 2/3 c
    boiling water
  • 2 c
    ice cubes
  • 1
    8 oz. container cool whip
  • fresh or canned fruit
  • 1
    prepared 8 or 9 inch graham cracker crust

How To Make light & fruity pie - great for easter

    Dissolve gelatin completely in the boiling water.
    Add ice cubes and stir until gelatin is thickened.
    Then remove any unmelted ice.
    Now use a wire whip, and blend in cool whip, whip until smooth.

    Fold in fruit; chill if necessary,
    until mixture will mound.
    Spoon into the baked, cooled pie crust.
    Chill 2 hours before serving.

    Personally I like peaches,and bananas!
    But you can add your favorite fruits.
    I have used fruit cocktail,
    but my husband did not like the grapes.
    So I did take them out,
    being the good wife,I were! LOL
