light & easy cream pie

I needed a pie for a picnic but didn't have alot of time, so kind of threw this together, hoping for the best! It's easy, tasty and light...hope you all like it! You can use other fruit than strawberries...maybe blueberries,raspberries or cherries (not pie filling). Needless to say, this was a hit and I've made it several times since.

Ingredients For light & easy cream pie

    9" graham cracker crust
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz
    cool whip
  • 1 pkg
    sliced strawberries, thaw & drain

How To Make light & easy cream pie

    Using mixer on medium speed, whip cream cheese until fluffy. Gently fold in cool whip. Stir in berries.

    Pour mixture into crust, mixture will mound up nicely; place in freezer for a couple hours to set up.

    If desired, you can thicken the juice with a little cornstarch and serve as a syrup over each piece of pie.
