Ingredients For lemon delight pie

  • 1
    graham cracker pie crust
  • 4 lg
    egg yolks
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 8 oz
    cool whip

How To Make lemon delight pie

  • 1
    Place egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice, zest and salt in the top of a double boiler or in a metal bowl and place over boiling water. Beat with whisk constantly until thickened.

    Let cool. Beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold into cooled lemon mixture. Pour into pie shell. Top with whipped cream. Refrigerate until set. Store in fridge.
