A neighbor gentleman gave me this recipe many years ago, and it is family favorited, tastes great and easy to make.

Ingredients For lemon custard pie

3egg yolks (hold whites off to side)

1 1/2 csugar

1/4 cfresh lemon juice
-
3 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1 Tbspbutter (or margarine)

3egg whites
-
1unbaked pie shell
How To Make lemon custard pie

1Beat egg yolks
-
2Add: sugar, lemon juice, flour and butter, stirring to blend

3Beat egg whites till stiff, then fold into lemon mixture

4Pour into unbaked pie crust (8 inch deep dish pie plate)

5Bake slowly, 350 degrees, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Check at 45 min...and keep checking every 10 min, till done. (each oven varies)
