Very simple,southern favorite. I like lemons,so I adapted it with extra lemon juice cause it perks up your mouth. :)

1 Tbspcornstarch

1 Tbsplemon zest, grated

4 lgeggs

1/2 clemon juice, fresh

1 stickbutter, melted and cooled

1unbaked pie crust
How To Make lemon chess pie

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl,combine the sugar,cornstarch and lemon zest.Whick in the eggs,1 at a time.Stir in the lemon juice and butter and blend thoroughly

2Pour the egg mixture into the pie shell and bake until the top is lightly browned and the center sets,20-25 minutes.

3Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Slice and serve.
