How To Make lemon cake pie

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Prepare pastry.

3Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

4Beat egg yolks. Add lemon peel and juice and milk; beat.

5Add sugar, flour and salt; beat until smooth.

6Fold into egg whites. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.

7Bake 45 to 50 minutes.

8Serve warm or cool; if desired, top with whipped cream.
