19 inch deep-dish pie crust, unbaked

3eggs, separated

2 Tbspgrated lemon peel

2/3 clemon juice

1 cmilk
-
1 1/4 csugar

1/3 call-purpose flour (do not use self-rising flour)
How To Make lemon cake pie

1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Beat egg whites in large mixer bowl until stiff peaks form; reserve. Beat egg yolks; beat in lemon peel, lemon juice and milk. Add sugar and flour and beat until smooth. Beat lemon mixture into egg whites on low speed of mixer until blended, about one minute.

3Pour into pie crust. Bake until golden brown, 45 - 50 minutes. May be served with whipped cream.
