This wonderful creamy, rich blueberry pie was shared with me by Kristina Kessler. Her husband and a few other nice people came to our house (on my birthday) to rescue our, at the time, 3 month old pup. She had fallen into a well we did not realize was on the property. Not only did they save our pup, we made new friendships.

Ingredients For kristina's blueberry cream pie

  • 1
    9-inch deep dish pie crust or use a homemade crust
  • 3 c
    fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed and drained
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter

How To Make kristina's blueberry cream pie

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Place blueberries in pie crust.

    Mix; 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, salt, eggs and sour cream together and pour evenly over berries.

    Mix the last 4 ingredients until crumbly and then sprinkle over top of pie.

    Bake for 50 to 55 minutes in preheated oven until lightly browned. Cool completely.
