Ingredients For kim's pecan pie

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c
    pecan halves
  • FOR A HOMEMADE CRUST
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp lard (yes i said lard) it will make the best tasting and flakiest crust you've ever had
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water

How To Make kim's pecan pie

  • 1
    preheat oven to 350 degrees. make pie crust. I make mine in a food processor. Add flour, salt, sugar, and lard. Pulse until it is crumbly. add the water all at one time and keep on till it forms a ball. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface and put it in the pie plate.

    mix all ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
