I decided to grow a bunch of kershaw pie and had no idea what to do with them. A friend of my grandparents told me about this recipe and I had to try it.

Ingredients For kershaw squash pie

2 1/2 ccooked, mashed kershaw squash

1/4 ccream

2eggs, beaten

1 csugar

1 Tbspflour

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/4 tspallspice

1/2 tsplemon extract

2 Tbspbutter

1unbaked pie shell
How To Make kershaw squash pie

1Heat oven to 450*.

2Stir together kershaw and cream; add beaten eggs and mix well. Add sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix well.

3Blend in lemon extract and butter.

4Pour mixture into pie shell; bake 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350* and bake an additional 40 minutes
