Mark said his Dad liked 2 pie recipes most, this one and the Cream Cheese Pie (which is already in JAP). Easy to make in whatever flavors you like, although his Dad liked strawberry.

  • 1 pt
    vanilla ice cream
  • 8 oz
    fruit with syrup, frozen
  • 4 oz
    jello
  • 1 c
    hot water
  • 1
    9" graham cracker pie crust

How To Make jello & ice cream pie, mark's

    Dissolve jello in 1 cup of hot water. Put ice cream in that mixture and stir until dissolved. Blend in fruit. Pour into a pie shell and refrigerate until set.

    Notes: The limitations are mostly your imagination - strawberry gelatin with strawberry ice cream was a favorite. Again, a rich dessert without a lot of fuss or expense
