My husbands favorite sweets are dark chocolate and pecan pie. His favorite drink is Jack Daniel's whiskey. This is what I make for him and only him for our holiday celebrations or just because. He does share it with me LOL!! It is soooo darn yummy!

Ingredients For jack's chocolate pecan pie

1pie crust shell, deep dish ( i use frozen)

4 lgeggs or 3 extra large eggs

1 cpacked dark brown sugar

1/2 csugar
-
1/2 cdark corn syrup
-
1/4 cwhiskey
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 cpecan halves, divided
-
1 cbittersweet chocolate chips, divided ( i use ghiradelli )
How To Make jack's chocolate pecan pie

1In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugars, syrup, whiskey, butter, and salt until blended. Stir in 1 1/2 cup pecan halves and 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Pour filling into crust; sprinkle with remaining pecans and chocolate chips. Bake at 325 dF for 50-60 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is puffed. Cool completely on a wire rack.
