This is a wonderful pie to make, when in a pinch for a dessert and not a lot of time to make one. It is always a hit. So creamy good! Best of all, only 5 ingredients! The only problem with this pie is it disappears fast! LOL! My photos

Ingredients For in a pinch cherry cheesecake

2 - 8 ozcream cheese ( philadelphia brand )

1 cconfectioners' sugar

1 - 8 ozcool whip,thawed

1shortbread or graham cracker crust (8 or 9 inches)

1 - 20 ozcan cherry pie filling ( or your favorite topping )

for more flavor, i have added lemon , orange zest. also a fellow jap member said she used vanilla extract. ( all optional )
How To Make in a pinch cherry cheesecake

1In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

2Fold in whipped topping; spoon into crust.

3Top with pie filling. Refrigerate until serving.
