Ingredients For harvest suprise apple pie

1 boxrefrigerated pillsbury pie crusts

6 cthinly sliced granny smith apples

1 Tbsplemon juice

1/2 clight brown sugar

1/2 csugar
-
2 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspground nutmeg
-
3 Tbspflour
-
1/4 cchilled butter, diced

9caramel squares, quartered
How To Make harvest suprise apple pie

1Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" deep dish pie pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, sugars, spices, flour, butter and caramels.

2Stir to coat ingredients evenly. Place 1 pie crust into bottom of pan. Spoon mix into crust. Top w/ pie crust. Crimp edges. Poke holes into crust w/ fork.

3Sprinkle top crust w/ a little sugar. Place pie pan on baking sheet. Place foil strips around edges of pie crust. Bake 50 mins. Take foil off the crust the last 20 mins of bake time.
