1unbaked pie crust

3eggs - beaten

3/4 cupwhite sugar

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspreal vanilla

2 1/2 cscalded l/2 and l/2

1/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make grandma linda's custard pie

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C)

2Mix together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Stir well. Blend in the scaled l/2 and l/2.

3Line pie pan with pastry - brush inside bottom and sides of pan with egg white to help prevent a soggy crust. Pour custard mixture into pie crust. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

4Bake for 35 minutes - or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on rack. Refrigerate.
