I'm no baker nor do I have a sweet tooth. I'm always looking for a quick and easy dessert for family and friends. This is a no brainer, easy and delicious. I hope that you will try this. It's a great finger food dessert idea for parties. Cooking With Passion, sw:)

Ingredients For fried pineapple basil walnut pies

1 pkgrefrigerated pie crusts

1/2 cpineapple, chopped

1/2 cpineapple cream cheese

4 lgbasil, fresh & chopped

1/3 choney
-
1/3 cchopped walnuts, divided
How To Make fried pineapple basil walnut pies

1roll out pie crusts, cut into 3 inch rounds. this should make appromiately 18-20 pies

2combine pineapple, cream cheese, basil & half of the walnuts in a mixing bowl

3spoon about a teaspoon of mixture on pie crust round

4fold each round in half. add a little water around the corners. pinch and crinkle to seal

5deep fry each batch around 3 minutes or until golden brown. remove from oil and drain

6drizzle with honey and sprinkle remaining walnuts on top. ENJOY!!!
