I just learned how to make pie crust and everyone loves it. It's even flaky after you reheat it.You can use this pie crust recipe and put anything as the filling.

Ingredients For easy as pie

  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 5 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make easy as pie

  • 1
    Mix flour and salt in med. to large mixing bowl.Cut in shortening using a fork until all flour is mixed in with the shortening.

    Stir in water and vinegar.

    On a clean,flat surface,cover lightly with flour.Roll dough out to fit pie plate.There will be enough for a top or a second open-faced pie.

    Once in the pie plate,poke with a fork so the pie crust doesn't bubble.Put in a 300* degree oven until lightly golden.Add filling and place back in oven until the middle of the pie is set.
