As a child I would only eat peanut butter & grape jelly sandwiches for lunch. This recipe was one that my mother, Earline, made for me on my birthday when I was about 8. Of course, it contained my favorite ingredient-PEANUT BUTTER! She passed away in 1985, but her peanut butter pie recipe lives on-now it's one of my husband's favorite pies!

Ingredients For no-bake peanut butter pie

1store-bought graham cracker crust

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

1 ccreamy peanut butter

1/2 cwhole or 2% milk

1 cpowdered sugar

1/2 tsppure vanilla extract

1 cfrozen whipped topping, thawed

1 cfrozen whipped topping, thawed, for garnish

1/2 cchopped peanuts, for garnish
How To Make no-bake peanut butter pie

1In a mixer, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.

2Add milk alternately with powdered sugar and beat on low until incorporated; Add vanilla and beat on high one minute.

3Gently fold in whipped topping and pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate 1-2 hours until firm.

4Cut into 8 servings and top with additional whipped topping and chopped peanuts.
