Let's face it: pecan pie is mighty decadent. I wanted to create a healthier yet tasty version and voila, here it is!

Ingredients For deliciouso healthier pecan pie

    9 inch regular sized unbaked pie crusts (found in the freezer section of the grocery store)
  • 6
    eggs
  • 4 pkg
    splenda
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    smuckers sugar free caramel topping (about a jar and a half)
  • 2
    6 ounce packages pecan halves (approx three cups)

How To Make deliciouso healthier pecan pie

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Beat eggs then Add in Splenda until disolved
  • 3
    Add melted butter and beat until incorporated
  • 4
    Stir in pecan halves
  • 5
    Pour half into one shell and half into the other
  • 6
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes *Keep an eye on the pies toward the end and cover loosely with foil if pecans start to brown too much as you don't want them to burn

    Let cool on cooling rack and enjoy!
