Got out my Heart Association cookbook for my stir fry and I remembered this recipe so thought I'd post it!! It is easy,delicious, moist and rich. Good cold or warm out of the oven. Serves 8 and only 153 calories!

Ingredients For crustless apple pie

  • vegetable oil spray
  • whites of 2 eggs or egg substitute eqivalent to one egg
  • 3/4 c
    sugar..i use organic
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar.....demera sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    grated lemon zest
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 c
    flour...i use organic unbleached and a spelt blend
  • 1 c
    diced peeled apple
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make crustless apple pie

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8 inch pie plate. I a large mixing bowl beat the egg whites , sugars, baking powder, vanilla , cinnamon, lemon zest and nutmeg with an electric mixer til fluffy. Stir in the flour just to blend and beat until smooth and wellblended. Stir in the apples. spoon into pie plate.Sprinkle nuts over top. bake for 30 mins or until golden brown.
