I got this recipe 27 years ago when I was first married from Faye Duman, my boy's Grandma's neighbor in Eugene Oregon. Faye was one of the best cooks I know and her desserts were second to non; this was Faye's favorite pecan pie.

Ingredients For faye's magic cream cheese pecan pie

1 pkg(8oz.) cream cheese

1/3 csugar

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla extract

1egg
-
1unbaked pie shell
-
1 ccorn syrup
-
1 tspvanilla extract

3eggs, beaten until blended

1/4 csugar

1 1/4 cpecans, chopped
How To Make faye's magic cream cheese pecan pie

1Combine 8oz.cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. vanilla and one egg. Cream well and pour into a unbaked pie shell.

2Blend together in medium mixing bowl, 1 cup corn syrup, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 beaten eggs, and 1/4 cup sugar.

3Add 1 1/4 cup pecans.

4Pour on top of first mixture.

5Bake at 375 degrees close to an hour.
