It's that time of year again and here in Georgia the peaches are in. Here's a peach pie recipe that my family loves and I hope yours will too. Note: Cook time is cool time.

Ingredients For cool 'n easy peach pie

2 cfresh peeled, sliced peaches divided

2/3 cboiling water

1 pkg3 oz. peach flavor gelatin

ice cubes
-
1/2 ccold water
-
8 ozcool whip
-
16 oz. graham cracker pie crust
How To Make cool 'n easy peach pie

1Slice 1 cup of peaches, refrigerate for later use. Chop remaining peaches, set aside. Add boiling water to gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin, stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.

2Whisk in cool whip. Stir in chopped peaches. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into pie crust.

3Refrigerate 6 hours or longer until firm. Top with remaining sliced peaches.
