A rich and fantastic dessert. I got this from a friend when i was a child in the late 70's. My mom would fix it ever so often and it would all be gone in a couple of days....One of my favorite recipes!!

Ingredients For coconut caramel pie

  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 7 oz
    coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    pecans,chopped
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 14 oz
    condensed milk
  • 16 oz
    cool whip
  • 2
    graham cracker pie crust
  • 12 oz
    caramel ice cream topping

How To Make coconut caramel pie

  • 1
    Melt butter in skillet. Add coconut and pecans and cook until brown. Combine cream cheese and milk,beat until smooth, then fold in cool whip. layer in crust, cream cheese mixture,caramel topping and coconut pecan mixture.Store in freezer until 5 minutes before serving. Very rich.
