  • FILLING
  • 1 can
    sauerkraut, rinsed thoroughly
  • 1 c
    shredded coconut
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanillla
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    special dark cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    dark chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • TOPPING
  • 2 Tbsp
    demerara sugar
  • holiday sprinkles, optional
  • CRUST
  • 1
    cinnamon coconut pie crust

How To Make chocolate sauerkraut dessert pie

    Mix all filling ingredients in a mixing bowl, mixing completely. Set aside.
