I tried this recipe many years ago because I wanted something to make my plain chocolate pie a little special. We loved it. I just put a dollop of coolwhip on it when I serve it. Ingredients For chocolate pecan pie

2/3 cevaporated milk

2 Tbspbutter

12 ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips

2 lgeggs

1 clight corn syrup

2 Tbspflour
-
1/4 tspsalt

1 1/2 cpecans or walnuts, halves or chopped

1 tspvanilla

19-inch pie shell, unbaked
How To Make chocolate pecan pie

1In a medium sauce pan, combine milk, butter and chocolate. Stir over low heat until melted.

2In a bowl, mix eggs, syrup, flour and salt. Stir to combine well. Add to chocolate mixture and stir until heated and smooth.

3Remove from heat, add nuts and vanilla.

4Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell and back at 375 F for about 45 minutes.
