Ingredients For chocolate pecan pie

2 ozchocolate, unsweetened squares

6 Tbspbutter

114 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

1/2 csugar

1/2 Tbspsalt

3eggs, lightly beaten

1-2 tspvanilla

1unbaked pastry for a 10-inch pie shell, or 2 (8-inch) pie shells

pecans (halved or coarsely chopped)
How To Make chocolate pecan pie

1melt chocolate with butter in saucepan

2combine condensed milk, sugar and salt, stir in eggs. add chocolate mixture and beat well

3stir in vanilla

4pour into unbaked pie shell which has been covered with pecans.

5bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees.

6reduce heat to 300 degrees, and bake 45 minutes.

7store in refrigerator.
