Ingredients For chocolate cream pie

19" pie shell, baked & cooled

3/4 csugar

1/3 chershey's cocoa

1/3 ccornstarch
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
3eggs, beaten
-
3 cmilk
-
3/4 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

3 Tbspbutter
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
reddi wip (garnish)
-
semi-sweet chocolate chips (garnish)
How To Make chocolate cream pie

1Mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch & salt in medium pan. Combine eggs & milk. Slowly stir into sugar mixture, till well combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly w/wisk till mixture starts to thicken and just comes to a boil. Remove from heat.

2Add choc chips, butter & vanilla. Stir till everything is melted smooth. Pour into crust.

3Cover w/plastic wrap, making sure wrap is directly on the pie surface, so skin won't form. Chill in fridge 4-5 hours till firm. Top w/whipped cream & choc chips.
