caribbean cream pie (duplicate)

Spinnaker's Restaurant in Gaithersburg, Maryland, served this wonderful pie. This took me almost a year to duplicate this recipe! It is fantastic! HINT- you can, if desired, add a few drops of vanilla and/or almond extract to the pudding, preferably if you use cooking pudding instead of instant so it isn't runny. REALLY DRAIN PINEAPPLE!!!

Ingredients For caribbean cream pie (duplicate)

  • 9"
    graham cracker pie crust
  • 1
    small package walnuts
  • 2
    bananas
  • 2 c
    coconut
  • 1 can
    small, crushed pineapple
  • 1 box
    dream whip
  • 2 pkg
    vanilla pudding

How To Make caribbean cream pie (duplicate)

  • 1
    Layer nuts, coconut, slices of banana and well drained pineapple in bottom of crust. Reserve a little coconut to toast for garnish, and a few walnuts. Fill with pudding, prepared to package directions. Chill. Before serving, top with prepared dream whip. Chill again completely. Toast coconut, garnish, slice and serve.
