This pie is every bite worth the time it takes to make.My family and I cut this pie into 16 slices because it is so rich, but delicious. you can also use the caramel as a dip for fruits.

Ingredients For caramel pie

  • 1
    graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1
    8oz container cool whip thawed

How To Make caramel pie

  • 1
    remove the labels from the cans and place the cans (unopened) in a large pot of water, bring water to a boil, boil for 3 hours making sure that the water covers the cans at all times. (you can boil as many cans as you want for future pies or a can or two for fruit dip)

    after 3 hours remove the cans from the heat, open the cans and pour the caramel into the pie shell,let the caramel cool and top with thawed cool whip. you can top the pie with anything you desire such as such brickle chips, chocolate chips, pecans etc... options are limitless. ENJOY!!! Keep refrigerated
