Ingredients For buttery pie crust

  • 2 cups
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 cup
    crisco, butter flavored
  • 4-8 TBS
    ice cold water

How To Make buttery pie crust

  • 1
    mix flour and salt
  • 2
    cut in crisco
  • 3
    add 4 TBS ice water, mix with fork, if too dry, add more water
  • 4
    cut in half and roll out 2 crusts, if recipe only calls for 1 crust, the other freezes well for when you do need it in the future
