My first experience with butterscotch pie. It was delicious. My Aunt Opal's recipe.

Ingredients For butterscotch pie

1pie crust shell

1 1/2 clight brown sugar

6 Tbspflour

2 1/4 cmilk/evaporated milk

3egg yolks
How To Make butterscotch pie

1In heavy bottom saucepan, combine brown sugar, flour and milks. (I use 12 oz of evaporated and add regular milk to make 2 1/4 cups total)

2Beat the egg yolks. Add to the above mixture and cook until it thickens over medium heat and cook for 2 minutes.

3Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into 9 inch pie shell. Top with meringue or whipped topping. Chill.
