This pie resembles a pumpkin pie. My family loves it and coming from a bunch that must have pumpkin pie at holidays that says alot! The kids even love it!!!

Ingredients For butternut squash pie

  • 1 1/2 c
    butternut squash, peeled & cubed
  • 1 c
    lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten
  • 1 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch
    allspice, ground
  • 1 pinch
    cloves, ground
  • 1 pinch
    ginger
  • 1 pinch
    nutmeg
  • 1
    unbaked pie shell

How To Make butternut squash pie

  • 1
    Boil Squash til tender (15 minutes or so). Drain & cool.
  • 2
    In blender, blend all ingredients & pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake @ 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or til knife comes out clean. Top w/ cool whip.
