This pie is a lot like a Pumpkin Pie.....A Pumpkin is considered a squash.........They are very tasty...You may decide that you like this even better than the Pumpkin............

Ingredients For butternut squash pie

1pie crust shell (deep uncooked)

1 csugar

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspcloves

1/2 tspallspice, ground

1/2 tspsalt

2 lgeggs, beaten

1 2/3 cevaporated milk (carnation)

1 1/2 cbutternut squash (cooked, pureed)
How To Make butternut squash pie

1Scoop seeds from squash bake in cake pan with a 1/2 cup of water @ 400* for 45-55 minutes. Then remove meat and put in blender to puree...Separate 1 1/2 for pie and freeze the rest for later...... Preheat #1 425* bake for 15 minutes, #2 turn down heat to 350* bake 45 more minutes.............

2Beat eggs with carnation, then combine the remaining ingredients and beat till smooth.....Pour into unbaked pie shell.....to bake..(same info above)Preheat #1 425* bake for 15 minutes, #2 turn down heat to 350* bake 45 more minutes.............
