This has become a family favorite! It's easy to make and melts in your mouth! After posting this recipe on my blog a fellow blogger left this comment:"Well the secret is out. Folks from the deep south has had this pie as a staple for decades. It is also good in custard cups without the pie crust and caramelize the top for a wonderful dessert.~Kathy" Happy Baking! Ingredients For buttermilk pie

1 1/2 csugar

1/2 cmelted butter - cool and drizzle in bowl.

1 tspvanilla

1/2 cbuttermilk
-
2 Tbspflour
-
4eggs
How To Make buttermilk pie

1Mix together until frothy.

2Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or by tapping the side of the pie pan and center barely moves. ***Make sure you take your first bite when it is a bit warm! Oh, so good! ***You can use a frozen pie shell, thawed or use my yummy crust recipe "Pat in a Pan" Pie Crust".
