1 stickbutter or margarine

11/2 csugar

2eggs (beaten)

1 cbuttermilk

6 Tbspflour (unbleached)

1lemon (squeezed for juice)

1unbaked deep-dish pie crust

1/4 tspnutmeg (freshly ground)
How To Make buttermilk lemon pie

1Mix all ingredients except nutmeg. Prick the bottom of the unbaked pie crust with a fork, and then pour mixture into crust. Grate a little of that fresh nutmeg on top and place pie on a cookie sheet to catch any overflow. Bake at 325° F for 25 to 30 minutes ‘til it barely jiggles in the middle and is browned on top. Then, lock your screen door cause every man in town's gonna be at your doorstep for a piece of that pie! Yum!
