This pie recipe probably isn't a far cry from other recipes you've seen, but boy - does it make one delicious pie! My Mom has made it for years, and now I have started to do the same. It disappears quickly!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Full of sweet blueberries and a hint of cinnamon, this is an old-fashioned blueberry pie like grandma used to make. The fresh blueberry filling is gooey. Some blueberries burst in the baking process and some don't, giving the filling a little texture. When they burst in your mouth it's very satisfying. We made a homemade crust to give that old-fashioned flaky crust, but a store-bought one would work too. This is the perfect summer pie when blueberries are in season. Serve with a big scoop of ice cream for the ultimate summer treat.
