Found this recipe in an old cookbook that belong to Mom. Changed it up a little bit now I call it mine. Been baking pies so long I don't even remember when I started. Made this one as a surprise for somebody.

Ingredients For blueberry -lemon pie

  • 1
    crust recipe for 2 crust pie
  • 2 c
    fresh berries
  • 2 c
    frozen berries(drain)
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour (heaping)
  • salt (dash)
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cold

How To Make blueberry -lemon pie

    In a largd large bowl mix berries, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, flour, and salt.

    Mix well, Place into a pastry lined pie plate. Dot with butter adjust top crust and flute edges and cut vents. Bake in hot oven 425 degrees 40 to 50 minutes or until crust is lightly browned and Juice bubbles through steam vents.
