This is a recipe I got in a Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cookbook that I have for at least 25 years. I've made it many times for my family and it never left me down.

Ingredients For blueberry cream pie

1 cvanilla wafer crumbs

1/2 cfinely chopped pecans

1/3 cbutter or margarine, melted. (i use butter)

121 oz can blueberry pie filling

1 tsplemon juice
-
18 oz. package cream cheese
-
1/2 cpowdered sugar
-
1 Tbspmilk
-
1 cheavy whipping cream
How To Make blueberry cream pie

1Combine crumbs, nuts and butter; press onto bottom and sides of 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool.

2Combine pie filling and lemon juice; pour into crust. Combine softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk, mixing until well blended. Gradually add remaining sugar to cream, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour over pie filling; chill several hours or overnight.

3Variation---Substitute cherry or apple pie filling for blueberry pie filling.
