When we can, in the summer, we pick fresh blackberries in our yard for this recipe. But store bought or frozen work just fine :)

Ingredients For blackberry pie

  • 2
    pie shells
  • 1 pkg
    frozen berries (thawed) or 1 to 1/2 cup fresh
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch or 4 tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • dash of salt

How To Make blackberry pie

  • 1
    Fill uncooked pie shell with blackberries. Mix sugar, cornstarch or flour and a dash of salt; sprinkle over blackberries. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust and sprinkle with sugar and butter. Bake 400 for 40-50 minutes.
