1 ckaro light or dark corn syrup

1/2 csugar

1/8 tspsalt

4 ozsemi-sweet baking chocolate, broken into pieces

3 Tbspbutter

4eggs, slightly beaten

1 tspvanilla extract

1 ccoarseley chopped pecans

1keebler ready crust graham 2 extra servings pie crust

1 can(21 oz.) cherry pie filling

whipped cream, optional
How To Make black forest brownie pecan pie

1Combine corn syrup, sugar and salt in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

2Add chocolate and butter to syrup mixture, stirring until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Let cool for 5 minutes.

3Pour chocolate mixture slowly over eggs, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and pecans; mix well. Place pie crust on a baking sheet, and pour mixture into crust.

4Bake in a 350-degree preheated oven for about 50 minutes or until center of pie is slightly puffed. Cool at least 1 hour. To serve, top each slice with cherry pie filling and whipped cream, if desired.
