I learned this recipe when I was in high school. I helped to make it for one of my friends graduation party. It's been a party favorite from Michigan to Mississippi!!!

Ingredients For banana split pie
- CRUST

1/2 cbutter, melted

2 cgraham crackers, crushed
- FILLING

3/4 cbutter, softened

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

2 cpowdered sugar, sifted

1 tspvanilla
- TOPPINGS

4medium bananas, slightly ripened (about 3 cups sliced)

1-20 ozcan crushed pineapple, well drained

1/3 cmaraschino cherries, cut in half

8 ozcool whip

1/2 cchopped nuts of your choice

chocolate syrup
How To Make banana split pie

1Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press into bottom of 13x9x2 pan.

2Beat cream cheese and softened butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat 5 mins. Spread over crust. Chill for 30 mins.

3Spread pineapple over creamed mixture. Arrange bananas over pineapple. Cover with whipped topping, sprinkle with nuts. Chill for 6 hours. Garnish with cherries. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
