I am posting this yummy dessert recipe for the Hawaii region of the world tour event. This is based on a recipe that is from "The Best of the Best Hawaii Cookbook", that I adapted for my tastes.

6 cbanana chunks

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 cflour

6 Tbspbrown sugar

1/2 cbutter, cold

6 Tbspsugar

3/4 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspnutmeg

1unbaked, 9-inch pie shell
How To Make banana crunch pie

1Combine bananas and lemon juice and let stand 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture looks mealy. Add sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to bananas and mix gently. Spread crumbs to edge of pie. Bake 40 minutes.

3I recommend serving it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!
