Ingredients For easy breezy bacon and cheddar quiche

  • 1/2 to 1 lb
    bacon fried crisp drained, broken into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded fine
  • 1
    green onion chopped or 1 tablespoon of onion diced fine or 1 tablespoon of chives
  • 1
    9 inch pie crust- uncooked
  • 2 c
    half anf half
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How To Make easy breezy bacon and cheddar quiche

    Preheat oven to 400. Prepare a 9 inch pie crust or use one that is from the dairy case. Do not prebake.

    Sprinkle the bacon on the bottom of the pan, spread the cheese over the bacon.

    In a bowl, beat the eggs and mustard until frothy.
  • 4
    Stir in the half and half and onions
  • 5
    Pour over cheese and bacon.

    Put on middle rack in oven, turn the temp to 350 degrees and cook 30-45 minutes until eggs are set. A knife stuck in the middle will come out clean.
