Ingredients For apple pie in a goblet

    tart apples, peeled and coarsley chopped
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 tsp
    water
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 12
    shortbread cookies
  • 2 c
    vanilla icre cram
  • whipping cream

How To Make apple pie in a goblet

    In a large saucepan, combine the apples , sugar water: cinnamon and nutmeg. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat: cover and simmer fot 10 minutes or until apple are tender. Uncover : cook 9-11 minutes longer or until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat .

    In each of the four goblets or parfait glasses, layer 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs, 1/2 cup ice cream and the fourth of apple mixture. Tp with remaining cookies crumbs and whipped cream Serve immediatley.
