1 cflour

3 ozalmonds, sliced

1 tspcinnamon

2 Tbspmilk

2 Tbspflour

1/2 csugar

1/4 cbutter, softened

1 Tbsplemon juice

1 Tbspcornstarch

4 Tbspsugar or brown sugar

5tart apples, peeled, cored, sliced

1 Tbspmilk

1/2 cvegetable oil

1 Tbspsugar

2 tspsalt

How To Make apple pie caramel almond

1With fork, beat together salad oil and milk.

2Stir oil mix into flour mix to make a soft dough.

3Press dough into 9 inch pie plate or 10 inch shallow au-gratin dish.

4Press edges to make sides about 1 inch high in gratin dish; make sides come to top of pie plate.

5Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes or until golden.

6While crust bakes, prepare apples.

7Mix with sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.

8Turn into baked pie shell.

9Melt butter in skillet.

10Add sugar, flour, cinnamon and almonds.

11Boil 1 minute, stirring.

12Pour over apples in pan to coat evenly.

13Bake at 425 for 25-30 minutes or until caramel topping is golden and bubbly.

14Cool before serving.

15Serve with sour cream, or lightly sweetened whipped cream.
