This a kind of quick & easy recipe to make when you have left over apples. More so around the Holidays. Qucik, easy & oh so good. I make this 3 times a year starting from Thanksgiving on.

Ingredients For apple crisp (gluten free)

6large tart cooking apples, thinly sliced

1 tspground cinnamon

-
1 boxbetty crocker (gluten free) yellow cake mix

1/2 cchopped nuts, anykind
-
1/2 cbutter, room temperature

1 tspground cinnamon

1egg, beaten
-
1ice cream, scoop
How To Make apple crisp (gluten free)

1Heat the oven to 350F. In a large bowl toss the apple slices with 1 tsp. cinnamon well. Spread them evenly on the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan.

2In another large bowl mix the cake mix & nuts. With a pastry blender or fork cut in the butter until crumbly.

3Add in 1 tsp cinnamon & the egg. Mix very well. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.

4Bake for about 45 mins or until topping islightly golden brown. Serve warm with any kind of ice cream.
