I make apple butter every year from our own apples so when my mom saw this recipe on a postcard she bought it and mailed it to me. I made it for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it!

1 ccanned pumpkin puree

1 capple butter

1/4 cdark brown sugar

19 in. unbaked deep dish pie crust

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/2 tspground nutmeg

1/4 tspsalt

3 lgeggs, beaten
-
1 cevaporated milk
- STREUSEL TOPPING:

3 Tbspbutter
-
1/2 call-purpose flour

1/4 cdark brown sugar

1/2 cchopped pecans
How To Make apple butter pumpkin pie

1Pie Directions: Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, apple butter, 1/4 c. brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in eggs and evaporated milk. Pour into prepared pie shell.

2Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Sprinkle streusel topping over the pie and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

3Streusel Topping Directions: In a small bowl, combine butter, flour, and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans.
