I found this recipe in a newspaper with a food column. The first time I used it, was to make an apricot pie. It turned out perfect. I recently tweaked this to make an addition of almond flavoring, for when the mood strikes.

Ingredients For any fruit pie

1empty pie pan or plate

2 Tbspbutter
-
4-6 cfresh fruit of choice, depending on the size of your fruit or the size of pie pan or plate

1/3 cbutter, melted

1 csugar
-
1egg, beaten
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract or 1/4 tsp. almond extract (for those who like that flavor)

1/3 call-purpose flour
How To Make any fruit pie

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Prepare fresh fruit for pie, by peeling, & coring, if necessary. Spread approx. 2 Tbs. butter in the empty pie pan or plate & up the sides. Add prepared fruit to pie pan or plate.

3Cream sugar & melted butter or margarine with electric mixer. Add egg, flour, & vanilla. Blend well. Pour & spread over fruit. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
