Zeppoles are enjoyed in New York at street fairs... Nothing beats the taste of hot Zeppole covered in sugar. Receipe can be easily doubled.

Ingredients For zeppole

1 cself raising flour

1 c7-up or other lemon-lime flavored soda

pinchof salt

enough oil to deep fry

1 cconfectioners sugar
How To Make zeppole

1Combine flour with 7-up and salt. Mix well

2Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to absorb oil. When you're done frying the dough, place the zeppoles in a paper bag add the confectioners sugar and shake the bag until all the Zeppole are covered in sugar... Enjoy!
