If you can make Rice Crispy Treats, you can make these I used to call these Hippy Bars but all my co-workers would ask if there was 'weed' in them, including my Head Chef, so i had to change the name lol.

Ingredients For trail mix bars

3 cpuffed rice cereal

3 coatmeal, uncooked

1 cchopped nuts (i like peanuts and almonds, but use what you like)

1 cdried fruit, chopped into bitesize peices if necessary- use whatever you like, i've done a tropical mix of pineapple, mango and papya that was awsomesauce. apricot, cran, raisin is good too

1 pkgmarshmallows

1 cpeanut butter, creamy

1 stickbutter
How To Make trail mix bars

1preheat oven to 375, toss together rice cereal, oatmeal, and nuts

2spead evenly on 1/2 sheet pan, toast til lightly browned, about 10-15 min, stirring halfway through

3Meanwhile, melt together butter, peanutbutter and marshmellows, stirring til well blended and all melty

4In large bowl, mix the cereal mixture and fruit. Coat dry mix with the melty goo, working quickly

5Pour mix into well greased pan, 8x8, 9x9, or 13x9. Cover with plastic wrap

6Press mix til top is flat and even. Refridgerate overnight

7Depan, and cut into bars/squares
